BY AIR
There are several low cost airlines that fly to Geneve/Lyon and Chambery airports, all which feed the French Alps and have regular transfers to Bourg St Maurice or car hire. Easy Jet (Tel 0870 600 0000) fly from Gatwick / Stansted and Luton to Geneve and Lyon airports. Flybe (Tel 0871 700 0535) fly from Southampton to Chambery .
BY TRAIN
Travelling by train could not be any easier, from Waterloo station to Bourg St Maurice station, then just walk to the end of the platform and take the funicular straight to Les Arc 1600 in 7 minutes, where the free shuttle will take you to Les Arc 2000. BY CAR
Getting there is easy by car, the resort is about 570 miles from Le Havre or 625 from Calais if you would like to break up the journey there are plenty of overnight motels on route which you can book on the Internet. When you reach Bourg St Maurice it is 17 miles to Les Arc 2000, snow chains can be hired or purchased in the filling stations or supermarket en route.
